Marketing Tips and Trivia--Issue One

Guess what?  I've decided that the world really needs another newsletter about advertising.  I knew you'd be pleased.  So here it is and...if you think you're already receiving more than enough newsletters, just click on Safe Unsubscribe and you're name will be taken off the list.  (You can always join again later if you change your mind.)  Or...if you find the content interesting, entertaining or helpful, by all means, forward to a friend.  Any friend of yours will be a friend of mine.  I'm going to try to send one of these out every month.  And, if you've got any ideas, comments or observations, by all means contact me.  It'll be good to hear from you.  I'm so lonely.

You're Unique...just like everyone else.

With marketing communication, it's not what you say, but how you say it. Why? Because within any product category; chances are everyone is saying the same thing.

Every time it see an ad saying; Finest Quality. Lowest Prices. Great Customer Service...I want to scream, "Damn it. I was hoping for poor quality, high prices and lousy service."

It's not that you shouldn't be saying these things...it's that you should find a unique and interesting way to say them. Something that will give your message greater credibility.  The fact is, people don't believe what you tell them. They do however believe what they discover for themselves. So...how can you lead people to discover things about you or your company that make them want to do business with you?

Maybe tell an interesting story. Show a photo that captures attention and says, "We're not like the other guys." Maybe you make an offer or guarantee that's unprecedented. Maybe ask and answer that taboo question that all your competitors have been avoiding. Point is, unless you have millions of marketing dollars to just continually run "awareness" ads; you have to say something that's going to separate you from the crowd. Something that will allow prospects to "discover" your great quality, low prices and outstanding customer service. Something that will give them a compelling reason to contact you...today.

For that kind of unique and irresistible advertising copywriting, contact me today. I offer great quality, low prices and outstanding service.  Just like everybody else.  Sorry...couldn't resist.
